Avatar
Primary Functionality: An avatar gives context and identifies who is being interacted with; whether it be yourself or someone else. It informs the primary user who they are working with. The avatar adds a human touch to a rather synthetic backdrop. It should reinforce to the user that they are working with an actual person and not a machine. The image border helps define an edge when one is missing in the uploaded image.
